Before you begin

Choose a stable, well-ventilated location with clear access to the PC’s controls and connections. Keep vents away from curtains, deep carpet and enclosed cupboard walls. Leave the packing materials available while you check the system, and compare the contents with your exact order.

Included accessories depend on the configuration. Do not assume every PC includes a monitor cable, keyboard, mouse, Bluetooth adapter or remote control. Check the order and the component manuals. If something appears missing or damaged, take photos and contact ElitePCS before improvising with an unsuitable cable or powering a damaged machine.

Work through the checks

  1. Inspect and remove transport materials

Check the outer carton, case and visible components for damage. Follow any unpacking instructions supplied with the PC, including removal of internal transport packing before power-on. Work with the PC unplugged and support the side panel securely. Do not pull packing against a graphics card or cable. If you cannot identify what should be removed, send support a photo and wait for the correct instructions.

  2. Connect the monitor to the right output

If a discrete graphics card is fitted, connect the gaming monitor to its HDMI or DisplayPort output. These ports are commonly lower down the rear of the case than the motherboard’s USB and audio cluster, although case layouts vary. Motherboard video sockets only work when the processor and configuration support them. Connect the other end firmly and choose the matching input on the monitor.

  3. Connect keyboard, mouse and network

Use ordinary rear USB ports for the initial keyboard and mouse connection. For Ethernet, connect a suitable cable from the PC to a LAN port on the router. For Wi-Fi, fit any supplied antennas to the labelled connectors or antenna base according to the manual. An internal wireless adapter can have poor reception without its external antennas, even close to the router.

  4. Connect mains power and start once

Use the supplied suitable power lead and a sound wall socket or appropriate power strip. If the PSU has a rear rocker switch, I normally means on and O off. Press the case’s power button once. Allow initial hardware checks to finish; some configurations take longer during first startup. If there is no picture, check the monitor input and our no-display guide before repeatedly turning the PC off.

  5. Complete Windows setup

Follow the Windows setup screens using an account you control. Set the correct region, keyboard layout and time zone, and review privacy choices. Connect to the internet, check Windows Update and restart when asked. Verify activation for the edition included in your order. Keep passwords, recovery information and any product key private. Do not install driver bundles from pop-up advertisements.

  6. Verify the essentials and make a backup

Check sound, microphone, internet access and the monitor’s resolution and refresh rate. Confirm the installed CPU, RAM, GPU and storage against the order, allowing for capacity-unit differences. Install games from their official launchers and test one at a time. Set up a backup for personal files and locate any encryption recovery key before changing firmware or installing additional hardware.

What the results tell you

PC lights up but the monitor says no signal

Confirm the graphics-card output and selected monitor input first. A powered case does not prove that Windows has started.

Wi-Fi appears but signal is weak

Check antenna installation and placement before assuming the adapter is faulty. Compare another device in the same location.

Accessories differ from an online example

Use your order configuration as the reference. Photos and generic guides can show optional equipment.

Common questions

Should I remove every protective item inside?

Remove only transport packaging identified by the supplied instructions. Do not remove brackets, labels, thermal pads or wiring supports because they look like packing.

Should I update BIOS immediately?

Only when there is a clear compatibility or support reason and you have the correct model-specific instructions. Ordinary Windows and component-driver checks come first.

Can I connect a second monitor later?

Yes, if the graphics hardware supports the intended combination. Use the monitor guide to check outputs, cable capabilities and Windows display mode.
